Workshops, talks and meetings
Ransom’s Pavilion is ideal for holding practical workshops or group tutorials. It’s also a good size for meetings, gatherings and talks for small audiences.
Capacity
The maximum numbers the pavilion can comfortably hold are:
- 21 in an audience setting (plus presenters)
- 12 seated at tables, either around one central table or at individual ‘workstations’ (plus tutors)
- The building can hold no more than 37 people in total to comply with health and safety regulations.
Facilities
Tea and coffee making facilities are available and there is a microwave, fridge and dishwasher, but no oven at present. You may bring pre-prepared refreshments or we can provide them, or food can be prepared on site using the stainless steel workstation.
Parking
Free parking* is available in the amenity carpark on Nightingale Road, next to the Esso garage. We kindly request that hirers and their guests use this facility and avoid parking in local roads for the convenience of our neighbours.
