This is a free event – please come along and bring family and friends! Bring your cup not your car! If you bring your own cup you’ll get a discount off all drinks. The event is less than 5 minutes walk from Hitchin rail station and associated bus stops.

This year we’re very excited to have a wellbeing area with tai chi and yoga for adults and kids as well as our buskers’ stage hosting live music from violinists Tegan & Alfie, to Vic Hastings 60s/70s classics, to Aziz’s Moroccan Gnawa, Garden City Samba’s carnival percussion and family-friendly theatre with Imajica Theatre’s new Wobbly Wood Squirrels’ wellbeing musical ‘Every Little Thing’s Gonna Be Alright!’ set to the uplifting music of Bob Marley.

There will be garden tours (12 for the community garden and forest garden and 1pm for our Growing Ability growing plots), dye plant workshops (from 11.00am), tai chi (11.30am) yoga for kids (12noon) and yoga for adults (12.30pm) – all free and bookable here or in person on the day. There’s also a free botanical dye workship with Nature’s Rainbow from 11-12.30, free puncture repair workshop from Dr Bike at 12.30pm and a free kids’ puppetry workshop by PQA Hitchin at 1pm!

Food and drink will be provided by Sams’ Pizza, Smok’n Greek BBQ, Tipsy Mare mobile bar, Fussey & Baer cafe van, Dopa Delights vegan cakes and Ice Baby ice cream van! Come hungry, leave happy!

Stalls will include Triangle Garden plants, bulbs, jams and chutneys, Triangle Garden kids crafts, Growing Ability stall – guess the weight of the marrow and win a Triangle garden hamper!, Hitchin Nature Network, Natures Rainbow, Tuuli Parker Jewellery, Dr Bike, The Yoga Shed, Imajica Theatre, Nesa de Niro, Impressions face painting, NCT, RSPB, What if/NHFoE/Take the Jump, Food Rescue Hub, Heart-led Sounds, PQA Hitchin and Triangle Garden’s wet sponge stocks stall!

We’re also hoping to persuade the local faeries to reveal their magical doors in our woodland glade for the first time ever! Fingers crossed we can make it happen! See our faerie door workshop to get involved!
