A seasonal growing club for pre-school children and their parents at Ransoms Allotments. If you’d like to share the outdoor fun of growing food and discovering nature with your child, then this is for you! Garden Club Tots will be led by experienced Horticultural Therapist Dulcie Buckenham and will run for one hour a week on a Friday morning during the growing season – from 17th April to 23rd October 2026, bookable online in six week blocks.
Garden Club Tots will offer a rich sensory environment for children to explore through play in a natural environment. We aim to create a space for parents/carers to connect with themselves, their children, one another, and nature. At the sessions parents and children will be encouraged and supported to grow simple flowers, fruits and vegetables of their choice. We’re excited to introduce children to where food comes from through growing activities, and also stories, play and songs.
