Try something different! Treat yourself to a place at our new alfresco foraging supper, prepared by The Hitchin Forager using locally foraged, sustainable and rescued ingredients. Join Hitchin Forager Jane Simmons and food writer and stylist Penny Stephens, for a complimentary glass of Prosecco/Nosecco with foraged syrup and wild food canapés, followed by a quick tour of the foraging delights of the Triangle Garden and its food forest. Then sit down to a delicious three course meal outdoors, under the new secluded timber shelter at the Triangle Garden growing plot. Bring your own wine to drink with the meal.
Tables will be set to seat 6-8 so come prepared to share a table with people you may not have met before and make new friends! You will all no doubt share a passion for foraging, outdoor living and delicious sustainable food. The menu will be vegetarian and gluten-free, with locally foraged ingredients sourced and prepared by registered forager Jane, with fresh produce from the Triangle Garden's allotment and Hitchin Food Rescue Hub, and staples from local low-waste food emporium The Wholesome Weigh. You are asked to bring your own crockery and cutlery and a blanket in case it gets cold.
