Women, this is for you! If you want to get MORE confident with power tools, we have the perfect workshop for you! ‘Skill Up Sisters’ aims to empower women to feel safe and confident with commonly-used tools, focusing on with the power drill, saw and jigsaw.

This workshop is for beginners, ideally those who have done our intro to powertools workshop

This workshop will cover the following:

• Recap on our drill workshop: drill details, pilot holes, drill bits, screws, wall plugs & fixings etc
• Outline simple construction techniques
• An intro to the next most used tool – the saw and Jigsaw with a demo
• Try it for yourself! Cut some straights and shapes
• Practise your cutting and drilling by making a small wall shelf.
