Join us for a family-friendly discovery session with Roger Havard from the Herts and Middlesex Bat Group. The evening will start with a lively and fascinating information session at the Pavilion, during which you will get the chance to see a live bat (one of Roger’s rescue bats). This will be followed by a walk around Ransom’s Rec led by Roger using his sonic bat detectors to pick up any bat activity. Bats come out at dusk and can usually be found where there are plenty of insects: the Triangle Garden is a good place to spot them. Refreshments will be provided.
